Hi, my name is Holly Shelton. I am currently completing my Associate Coaching Certificate en route to my Professional Coaching Certificate with the International Coaching Federation. I am originally from Colorado (where the Columbine is the State flower) and currently reside in Washington, DC where I have worked in the tech industry for the entirety of my career.  I am a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter where I will be able leverage my strengths to enable and empower clients across a variety of chapters in life.

Similar to many who have a calling to become a coach, I get the most joy and energy from helping others navigate through life or career transitions.  I derive self-worth from listening to my friends and family and offering encouragement and guidance where needed.  Throughout my career, I have also served as a mentor and coach to employees, peers, and friends.  I am grateful to have benefited from some incredible mentors of my own that helped me navigate career pivots, championed me as I embraced a growth mindset, and enabled me to take risks. The results have led to 20+ years of success across marketing, executive programs, business strategy and operations, and most recently serving as a business advisor within the fast- paced field of Artificial Intelligence. While I have gained skills, expertise, promotions, and experiences throughout the various chapters of my career, I have never felt more rewarded than when working in a coaching capacity to hire, develop, and mentor others.

This has brought me to the juncture where I find myself today.  After losing my Dad to cancer in 2024, I realized that life is fleeting and we have a responsibility to live to the fullest while we are on planet Earth. This means asking the difficult questions, aligning your actions to your values, and prioritizing passion and direction above anything else.
